Training for Employers

Do your recruitment procedures encourage applications from people with disabilities?

Is your interview process based on the social model of disability? Have your staff been trained in asking the right questions?

Are your staff aware of what a reasonable adjustment is - you would be surprised how many are not!

Do you know how to implement an inclusive risk assessment if a person with a disability presents a perceived health and safety risk?

Some of the events coming soon for academic year 2007/2008

  • Supporting learners with mental health difficulties
